What does an AI Overview checker do?

It searches Google for your buyer questions, reads the AI Overview at the top, and records whether your brand is named, whether your pages are cited, and who is named instead.

Google says it is included in the Performance report under the Web search type, mixed with regular search traffic. It is not split out.
